Frequently Asked Questions
Are your flours gluten-free?

All our flours, almond flour, and hazelnut flour, are gluten-free. The only ingredient they contain is that of the main product, i.e. 100% almond and 100% hazelnut. These flours are good baking flours, which give a nutty flavour that goes very well in cakes, muffins, and other recipes.

Where do I find recipes?

You can find some of our recipes on Instagram Reels (@nuttydelights.ie), on TikTok (@nuttydelights), and on our blogs on the website. All our recipes are gluten-free and sugar-free, and some of them are vegan too.

How do I store my baking products?

Ideally, the products should be stored in a hermetically sealed container in a cool place out of direct sunlight. It is recommended to remove the packaging as soon as possible so that the package does not absorb the fat from the product, otherwise, the product will be dry and will lose its texture and smoothness.

Are your baking products vegan?

All our baking products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Nuts, flours and dried fruits are suitable for vegans. You can make loads of delicious cakes, muffins, biscuits, and more and we also offer them on our website, TikTok and Instagram reels vegan recipes with our baking products.

Any sugar-replacement alternatives?

Using dates to replace sugar is a very good idea in baking. It can be used chopped or crushed into a paste, on its own, or with other ingredients mixed in. Another alternative to replace sugar is to use our dehydrated fruits to accompany natural yogurts, and sugar-free cereals, to sweeten sponge cakes...

Any white flour replacement alternatives?

We have nut flours available: almond flour and hazelnut flour, which are a good alternative to refined white flours, as well as provide an excellent touch of nutty flavour. Making desserts with these flours is very easy, and it is very convenient for non-bake too, as this flour does not require baking to be digestible.

Do you sell in bulks for bakeries or restaurants?

Yes, we sell in bulk for restaurants, bakeries, shops, supermarkets, and other types of businesses. The advantage of buying in bulk is that you can save up to 50% by bulk buying. Contact us and we can give you more information.

How can I use Ginger Syrup for?

Ginger syrup can be used to give a fresh, spicy, and sweet touch to cocktails, it is also good for pancakes for breakfast, for a warm and relaxing tea, for toast, yogurt, pastries, or some exotic sauces.

Where are the Glazed Cherries from?

Our glazed cherries come from Spain. There they are typical in traditional Christmas baking. It is an original and sweet idea to give a touch of colour and brightness to our cakes and muffins, sure everyone will be surprised to see it.

How long can I keep dried fruits?

It is always advisable to look at the "best before" of each product, and in case this information is not provided, it is recommended to keep up to 6 months of shelf life, as long as these products are stored in a closed container, in a cool place and out of the sunlight.
