Dried apple rings are delicious and very nutritious. They have the same taste as an apple but just concentrated. As apples are mostly water, the dehydration process ends up with some very strong flavours. Nutritionally, dried apple rings are full of sugar, of course, but have a very high level of dietary fiber. Small amounts of vitamin C and iron are left, which contribute to a healthy immune system and circulation. Perfect as a small snack to act as a healthy pick-me-up, or as part of a trail mix for that sugar you need to replace while exercising. Great in cereal, cakes and tarts as well.
