White Quinoa Seeds


White quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) seeds are a modern “superfood” that has actually been cultivated in the Andes for thousands of years. A mild tasting grain with a pleasing texture, white quinoa seeds are fabulous added to a salad, mixed with fresh mint and olive oil, or added to soup to add thickness and texture.

Just add water in the correct proportions and leave it a while and you’ll have a protein and nutrient rich, not to mention gluten free, meal. Rich in dietary fibre, it also contains iron and copper in high concentrations, as well as the essential nutrient vitamin B6.
