Blanched almonds are almonds without the skins in layman’s terms. You may also see them being sold as “skinless almonds”. Our almonds have been steamed blanched to remove their dark skin exterior which makes them highly versatile for cooking and baking.
You can create beautifully enriched food, sweet or savoury, by adding almonds into your cooking regime. Blanching is a very light form of processing. Therefore, the almonds don’t take on any colour or flavour changes and retain the nutritional prowess of these nuts.
They are naturally low in calories and sugar and have a huge amount of calcium, so they are great for making homemade almond milk!
