Description
Dried prunes, also known as dried plums, are a form of dried fruit created by sun or dehydrator drying ripe plums. Most of the water content is removed during the drying process, resulting in a shriveled, dark-colored fruit with a sweet flavor.
Dried prunes can be eaten on their own as a snack, mixed into cereals, trail mixes, or baked products, or used in savory meals such as stews or tagines. They can also be rehydrated before eating by soaking them in water or juice.
